Photo shoot number two.

All new pics from photo shoot number two and I have another shoot lined up for this coming Wednesday. All of these photos were taken by Lindsay Cathcart Photography 1/28/09. Hair and make-up of course is all done by Lisa B AKA Brooksie. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 1988 so I guess all of those years of experience as a hairstylist and make-up artist has paid off.

Remodeling & Housekeeping

Since it is a new year and spring is around the corner I thought I would do a little remodeling here on my blog. I have put up a new blog: ART DECO GIRLS LIBRARY, (I am so excited my very own library!) which is devoted to my short stories. Everything that has to do with vintage lifestyles, fashion and vintage pin up modeling will be here on this blog: THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART DECO GIRL. So bear with me everybody while we go through this change but once everything is in its proper place things will be so much better.

Sorry it has been a while since I have blogged but life has gotten in the way. I am working on yet another short story to add to my series however this one is taking a little longer then expected. Well first I had to do a little research because for the most part the majority of my stories have a lot of historically correct bits and pieces to them, then I go in a fill in the details with what comes to the top of my crazy mind. I originally had an idea and theme for this next next story and I kept the same theme but I changed up some of the ideas. Then I rough drafted it all out but I am still working on the ending... I actually have two endings for this story and I am in the process of deciding which one to go with. Then I will go over it with a fine tooth editing comb before I post it.

Now for me I am still looking for work but I have taken up a new hobby: retro/vintage modeling. I had my first real shoot with a photographer that is working with me to develop a portfolio. It was a ton of fun! When I get the pics back I will be posting! The theme was retro lingerie. Fun, fun, fun!
