Brooch Collection
I promised you all that I would share pictures of my brooch collection so here it is, this pillow was from a friend that was just going to throw it in the garbage but I took it about 6 years ago, put my brooch collection on it and have had most of them on here ever since. I have been collection vintage brooches since I was 9 that was when my grandma passed away so I inherited a bunch from her, my mom gave me some, friends give me brooches as gifts because they know I collect them and I have collected more along the way. Some are not on the pillow some are in a box and I have a few that are broken that I want to have fixed. I would say I have around 50 or 60 in all, I have not counted lately so I do not really know but I would say that is a really good guess. My favorite broaches are the two Art Deco bows (one is rhinestones and the other is marcasite) and the 1930s spider after that I would have to say the enamel moth and the enamel butterfly (which I mentioned in my last post)
