Photo Shoot

I had a great photo shoot with my photographer Jim Dorothy of Gladstone Oregon. We went to a total of three locations, more on those at another time. This location here is the Main Street Collectors Mall and Soda Fountain in Milwaukie Oregon. To learn more about the Main Street Collectors Mall please read my write up on the Queens of Vintage: http://www.queensofvintage.com/index.php?s=Main+Street+Collectors+Mall

Oh goodness you are extremely adorable. I came to comment on the wonderful comment you left me at my blog, but I also see how amazing you dress here too other than from the descriptions you gave me from how you used to dress. Amazing!
I thought it was soooooo interesting how similar you sounded like me in grade school!!! I also was extremely skinny that people called me anorexic. I ate like a horse (still do) and was on weight gainers at age 12. I didn't really "fill out" until I had my sons, but granted I am still tiny, but thankfully not as tiny as I was. That was kinda scary looking when I look back at some of my photos. People stopped making fun of me being so skinny though after a girl in my 7th grade class actually was so anorexic that she turned orange and was on a feeding tube for a couple weeks in the hospital, so they had to give us girls a pep talk. They realized that I was definitely not like that. It is really sad (eating disorders) and how many people I knew who had them that went to middle school with me!! Sad! The girl that was anorexic said (before we knew about her problem) to me "I wish I could be skinny like you." and then another girl said, "ew you don't want to be that skinny." and the girl said, "it's perfect" and I said, "no, it's horrible. you look great the way you are! I am underweight and have been trying to gain an extra 15 pounds for years." funny how you remember stuff like that. Thanks so much for sharing. You sound like you were an awesome kid.
