WOW!

OMG! I got 10 new followers virtually over night! Since I have moved I have not gotten my I-net up and running yet and I only have access at work. I have not had a chance to do any blogging at all and because I am at work I need to go ASAP. As soon as I get I - net again I will be back to blogging.

Sorry!

I am sorry I have not posted in a while, I am getting ready to move back into the city and I am so excited! I will be moving at the end of this month-I would love to say I will check in before that time but there are no guarantees because I have been so busy, with working more hours at work, packing, and selling things.

Photo Shoot

I had a great photo shoot with my photographer Jim Dorothy of Gladstone Oregon. We went to a total of three locations, more on those at another time. This location here is the Main Street Collectors Mall and Soda Fountain in Milwaukie Oregon. To learn more about the Main Street Collectors Mall please read my write up on the Queens of Vintage: http://www.queensofvintage.com/index.php?s=Main+Street+Collectors+Mall

The Victory Garden

This past weekend I spent some time out in the garden. My house mate and I planted lettuce and picked weeds. We already have several herbs that survived the winter. We will be planting many more tasty things in the days to come.

In this post I have included a couple of my favorite Victory Garden propaganda posters from World War I.

Hat obsession anyone?

Does anyone else have a hat obsession, particularily a vintage hat obsession? I know I can not be the only one out there! I just adore hats, especially vintage ones. I have been collecting them for about 15 plus years now, maybe more. I saw a cute gal on the bus with a mix of different clothing eras on both new and old. She had on the most adorable vintage black and butterscotch straw cloche hat on.

So tell me readers...do you have a hat obsession? If so tell me about it, how many hats do you have? Are they modern or vintage? How do you wear them - with a mix of old and new or do you stick to one era? If so what is your favorite era? Also how do you store them, etc?... enquiring minds what to know!
